A.Sauvage is planning to open its first store in London following a deal to secure the premises.
Scottish Widows has let 48 Maddox Street in the capital to the menswear label, which will pay 48 Maddox Street under a ten-year lease.
Advice regarding the deal was provided to Scottish Widows by property specialist Savills and the fashion label from designer Adrien Sauvage and celebrity presenter George Lamb will fill the 650 sq ft (60 sq m) space, the first for A.Sauvage.
Savills associate director Melandra Curley stated that the label is "very much seen as an up and coming fashion brand and this location will therefore be the perfect place for its London flagship".
Born in 1983, director, designer and photographer Adrien Sauvage started the A.Sauvage brand with Lamb, his former client and muse, as business partner.
In a recent interview with GQ magazine, he stated that his aim is "to make it easier for a man when he's getting dressed" by making cuts more modern, or using different fabrics.
